Skeptical, she delved into internet research and stumbled upon the condition known as “CRPS,” also referred to as Morbus Sudeck.
For years, she sought out various doctors, yet none could provide the assistance she desperately needed. A profound sense of despair settled upon her; there was truly no one there to lend a helping hand.
Months were spent in hospitals, undergoing rehabilitation, and enduring various treatments. In total, she has undergone a staggering 85 surgeries relating to her hand.
There were moments when she felt as if she were teetering on the precipice of hopelessness, but an unwavering resolve kept her pushing forward. Finally, in 2019, a decision was made to undergo arm amputation, a choice prompted by the imminent threat of sepsis.
